An Entertaining show for Suns Fans

A sometimes humerous look at what is going on with the Suns. Keep up the good work guys.

very poor show...not organic reviews

Just. Plain. Horrible. Jim is pretty bad as a host and is very put off by others who would have a different opinion, and when he agrees with someone he interupts them anyway bc god forbid anyone should make a point before him. All their scopes of knowledge are fairly limited - and I am not sure why someone would use the description "credentialed media member" - except to excuse why they have no background in any medium of journalism and have never been in the sports business - and it shows. Dont be fooled by the couple dozen self-reviews and people they brought over fom their site - this is the reason why podcasts are laughed at.

Good Show. But Greg Espo is often too negative

When Duke played UNC multiple times this season it was the most anticipated college b-ball game of the year mainly because of Zion. Unfortunately Zion was hurt. This led to the focus being on RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish. Now if you go back and watch these games you will see as I surprisingly did that the best player on the floor and who was efficient and scoring multiple ways was Cameron “Espo doesn’t know his name because he doesn’t watch college b-ball” Johnson. They beat Duke twice because of the play of Johnson and almost beat them a 3rd time. He was there best player even more so than Coby White. So lets not pass judgement yet. The Suns drafted a shooter who shot a eye popping 45% from 3. In fact all of their drafts and Saric can shoot from 3. Rather than drafting unproven shooters who are athletic like Jackson and Chriss hoping they improve their shooting. Also his age falls in line with them not wanting younger inexperienced players playing a lot of minutes. At worst he may be Wayne Ellington (which is good) at best he’s a bigger Booker or Klay. Finally you need to compare the stats of Culver and Cameron as well as size. You’ll notice that they are nearly the same but Johnson is bigger and a superior shooter. Believe it or not you could argue that Cameron is better than Culver and more mature mentally and physically. He would not have lasted to 32 as the Sixers reportedly were targeting him in the 20s. After the top 3 the draft was a crap shoot and everyone knows it. Lonzo Ball, Markelle Fultz, Josh Jackson, Dennis Smith all drafted high 2 years ago and yet are still unproven.

Saric - was a fan favorite in Philly and close to winning rookie of the year. He is tough and knows Monty. Great shooter, passer and rebounder. Another highly skilled Euro who can easily get 10 pts plus and 7 rebs and 4 assists a night on an off day. He is a gym rat, a hooper.

I liked the Ty pick up as a shooter, passer and leader. The high school kid Jalen is a low risk developmental pg option who can take his time to develop his skills but already has the athleticism for the NBA at age 19.

Just imagine the shooting competitions Ty, Booker, Cameron, Saric, Oubre and Milan will have during practices...Do you see the vision unfolding?

As far as TJ Warren - he’s a great player no doubt and scorer. Very hard worker. The problem is his health. Had he came back and not sat out the rest of the season we may have been able to show value. Important thing is we have cap space so let’s wait and see what Jones and company do with it.

Greg - you’re too negative. You killed Jones on the Tyler Johnson and Oubre deal and it ended up working out just fine and led to a nice winning streak. You ripped Jamal and he’s been great it seems for the locker room and contributed immensely towards the end of season. The young guys look up to him. Keep in mind this regime has to clean up the mistakes of the prior (e.g. Jackson, Warren contract) before they can propel forward. It’s going to be difficult to unload Jackson based on his recent legal troubles.

I think they’ve done fine with what little they were given thus far.
