Diagnosis

I have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder following a suicide attempt. The suicide attempt occurred two days before my period started. In recent months I have felt literally that « I’m not even on mood stabilizers when on my period. » I started keeping track of my period and my moods before and after. Like clockwork 8-10 days before my period the massive breast swelling begins, the mood is a roller coaster, I break up with my boyfriend, I isolate myself from others, I want to quit my job-I am a monster! I am meeting with my psychiatrist next week to ask about PMDD. Thank you thank you for this podcast!

Very grateful to have discovered this podcast

PMDD is a very real, very debilitating condition that is 95% misunderstood. I am so happy to have discovered a podcast that explores the feelings, emotions, experiences associated with PMDD and makes you feel you’re not alone in your monthly battle. Also Natasha gives wonderful advice on ways to overcome some of the negative thoughts associated with PMDD - It’s not always easy to get motivated to overcome. But it’s so helpful to listen to other women’s struggles and experiences and to know you’re not alone.
