The Gorn are on their way to becoming a classic Star Trek villain. But what are they up to? These don’t seem to be the same Gorn La’an encountered. Grab a lizard fighting weapon and sound the horn of Cayuga, the crew is riding into battle in this season finale.

    Subspace Rhapsody

It’s a musical episode that is out of this world, literally! A.Ron loved it, Jim hated it. But both agree that Pelia is annoying. Jim and A.Ron had some predictions on which cast members would make good singers…find out if they were right! And somebody please stop Spock from taking a red pill.

    Under the Cloak of War

    Under the Cloak of War

It is a right of passage for each sci-fi series to do a “war” episode. Ortegas is not happy about the ship’s new guest, the guest being the Klingon war criminal Rah. Known as the “Butcher”, Rah’s presence on the Enterprise triggers PTSD in Dr. M’Benga. Get to know more of M’Benga’s backstory in this excellently written episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

    Those Old Scientists

    Those Old Scientists

It’s the Star Trek: Lower Decks crossover that we needed! After a selfie activates a portal, Boimler and Mariner find themselves on the Enterprise. There’s been a lot of time travel in ST: SNW, so everyone should know the rules, right? Well, the USS Cerritos crew members are having trouble keeping “future-stuff” to themselves. Put a little madcap in your Star Trek with this episode!

Deadhead-Dan10 ,

New to Trek

And pretty much only watching because I want more Bald Move coverage. They hit a Grand Slam w/ Expanse & Foundation recommendations so checking out Strange New Worlds. Stumbled upon them for Hoise of Dragons, then again for We Own this Town…now I’m a devoted fan and spend at least 1-2 hours w/ A.Ron & Jim daily. I listen to plenty of stuff and these guys are consistently more intelligent and interesting than anyone else I’ve heard.

Engaged

Glad I found you guys and always look forward to a new episode.
You are funny and I feel like the commentary you are making is the same kind of thing my friends/ family and I would be saying if we were all sitting in a room together watching the show.

Do Not Engage

I can think of several things I’d rather do (root canal, pound my head against a wall, etc) than listen to a couple of entitled Trek Bros with lame STU knowledge joke on and on about Deanna’s rape. Hilarious! Sure, it’s fiction, but it made me sick and I doubt I’m alone. “Hey look, dude! We also get to swear while we dump on the show! High five!”
