It all started with Sunshine…
I had to listen to some strangers talk about one of my favorite sci-fi movies from late high school/ early college. They tore it to smithereens… and I loved every second of it!! Absolutely hilarious show. Great banter as well as commentary on the background of the movies and their lasting impact (or lack thereof).
Sorry, not from Tasmania though.
I still enjoy it if I haven’t seen the movie
I just listened to the Mrs. Doubtfire episode. I laughed a lot and I really enjoyed it. Thank you for putting this podcast together!
One thing that I like about this podcast compared to something like “The Rewatchables” is that the hosts actually walk through the entire plot of the movie. This means that I could realistically listen to episodes about movies I haven’t seen. With “The Rewatchables” they don’t walk through the plot, so if you haven’t seen the movie already you get lost.
Constructive feedback -> the podcast starts really slowly. I think it would be better to get right down to business and start talking about the movie, instead of going through the content you currently have in the first 5 minutes.
What is going on with the weird title? Nobody is going to know what this podcast is about.
With old movies I always assume it’s going to contain something terrible that would offend contemporary sensibilities. That comes with the territory. It gets kinda old when you bring it up 5 separate times, I get it!
