We review the absolute hell out of Kevin Costner movies.

    The Gunrunner

It has been a long time Costnerphiles, but not as long as it was between the filming and release of the topic of this episodes film review. This Canadian student art project was kept "in the can" for 5 years. Filmed before Fandango and Silverado, this dumpster fire was released on the heels of Bull Durham and Field of Dreams. A classic studio tactic to salvage value from obvious mistakes. It seems fitting then to have waited over a month to let you hear our review. Good luck making heads or tales of the actual movie and it is probably one you can skip...but the Costner Completionists out there will have to buy it on VHS because even Tubi stopped streaming this crap days after we watched it.

    The War

    The War

The PodCostner is on the precipice of a trip to the promised land. But before we play, we get down to the hard work of talking about one of the unsung heroes of the Costnerverse, Stephen Simmons. Costner's character in The War is every bit the conflicted hero that a Marvel comic book might portray. It is too bad then that his Achilles heel turns out to be giant boulders! What is funny about being crushed to death by falling rocks you might ask? You had better just click play and find out.

    Black or White

    Black or White

In this very special episode, the PodCostner tackles a lot of very special topics.  Thats right 90's sitcom fans, we are talking about drugs.  Crack mostly, but also alcohol.  Black or White brings us our first version of drunk Costner along with a whole heap of racial and diversity issues that we have thus far not been required to address directly.  But we will cower no longer behind our microphones.  The world needs more opinions from three middle aged white men like it needs to breath!  We are the voice of the Costnerverse and we must not shrink in the cause.  There are afterall "white saviors" that need our criticisms and alcoholisms that need our enabling.  Also Jeff brought presents!

Space Wranglers: Not Kevin Costners Cosmic Cattle Drive

Space Wranglers: Not Kevin Costners Cosmic Cattle Drive

Well we finally did it...we really jumped the shark on this one.  If you have followed us this far hopefully you can indulge us in some good natured shenanigans.  Hopefully you can look the other way on some "creative license".  Hopefully...we don't get sued.
Lately we have been opining a film that takes our muse to the stars, a vehicle that would take Costner to space.  We could wait no longer.   Join us for an AI inspired/created adventure to the friggin Moon ya'll!

    The Dialtone of Density

    The Dialtone of Density

In a nod to a hero from our pasts that isn't Costner we took a different path this week.   A side quest to Applebee's led to a date with destiny at our local AMC theatre to see the hopefully final entry into the Indiana Jones saga.  Only the second time we have reviewed a movie currently in theatre's we should include a very heavy SPOILER ALERT for not only this movie but also the trash bin that is The Flash as we basically give away the end of that too on accident.   So push play on this episode, apply your Aspercreme, take a few Advils and GET OFF OUR LAWN!

    The Snyder Cut

    The Snyder Cut

Will we be discussing the Joss Whedon version of Justice League at any time in the future? Absolutely fucking not because that film doesn't exist anymore!!! Do we have to do another episode for the black and white version of this film titled Justice is Gray?  No that would be insane.  Did we even have to do a review of THIS film?  Probably not.  We here at the PodCostner go up, up and above and beyond to bring you our thoughts on every tasty little Costner morsel we can get our hands on.  Enjoy our rundown of the longest (and dare we say best) superhero film of all time.  Even if its only connection to the Costnerverse is a creepy disembodied voice towards the very end that was obviously reused from a previous film.
