M3gan (and the Cult of Safety)
M3gan is a movie with more to say than its Overwatch-Dancing-Robot trailer would suggest.
The movie raises critical points about parenting, technology, and the all-consuming pursuit of safety - and your boys at PCCD Pod get into alllll of it.

Nefarious - Go See This Movie
Here's a quick drop-in to encourage you to go see Nefarious while it is in theaters. We aren't affiliated, aren't making any money off this but just think it is a good movie that Christians have a lot of good reasons to watch.
You should also get on twitter and nag Jared about watching the film so he and Jeff can do a longer review. -
Demons, DMT, and The Return of the Dragon with Lewis Ungit
On this episode we're talking to author Lewis Ungit about his book The Return of the Dragon: The Shocking Way Drugs and Religion Shape Peoples and Societies.
Lewis is a careful thinker and researcher; in the book he lays out how our culture's increasing acceptance of mind-altering substances lines up with ancient pagan practices and dark spiritual forces.
This topic is important and Lewis' book addresses it well. Please reach out to a friend and ask them to listen to this one.

Helping Christians think about pop culture like Christians
I thoroughly enjoy the conversations between Jeff and Jared as well as the interviews. Christians cannot be defined by popular culture, but neither can they afford to remain totally ignorant of it. This podcast is well-done combination of entertaining and thought-provoking content and I highly recommend it.
Talk about easily offended 😂
For goodness sake, when will we stop being upset and offended by everything? A Disney character is too masculine 😂 oh man. So many in society are REALLY stretching to find things to complain and attempt to be divisive about. This is a prime example. Praying God opens your hearts and minds to focus on issues that truly matter on this world 🙏
Great Podcast
What a great podcast. Jeff and Jared always have a thoughtful, biblical perspective, and offer godly insight on the media they review. The conversations are always enjoyable to listen to, even when I don't agree with them. They also have great guests on like Brian Godawa and Joe Davis. This is worth checking out if you like movies and thinking about medai biblically.
