Kristen Walker Smith is a co-host of the One Minute Scripture Study podcast, a Deseret Book masterclass teacher, BYU Education Week speaker, EFY teacher, former seminary teacher, and bestselling author.   Kristen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University where she met her darling husband of almost 20 years; they are the parents of three wonderful, rascally children.  When Kristen isn’t teaching the gospel you can usually find her rock climbing, listening to Elder Holland talks, or eating peanut butter– frequently all at the same time.

He loves people and its not in spite of their weaknesses and difficulties, but because he sees their power and strength as they fight through it- Kristen

We think we are one thing, but when we open our mimd and our heart to our spiritual identity, when that happens we begin to understand who we really are- Brigette 

our true self is much more aware then our frontal lobe- Kristen

I have a spirit that reminds my brain what it true- Kristen

I am amazed at how I can be in a class of 500 on the internet, we do a meditation, and all the sudden everyone is crying. It's because for 2 seconds they let go of what their brain thought and they tune into what their spirit thought. your spirit will call you out but it will love you infinitely.- Brigette

If did not believe God created me and I had a purpose and I am accountable to him, I would probably have reacted to my circumstances very differently- Kristen

If I didn't believe that God had wanted me on earth, I might have ended that option- Kristen

I learned that it was a season and that things will always, always get better... Waiting for 7 years is a long time, but I recognized that I was in a waiting period.- Kristen

God had waiting periods, and growing periods and be patient periods.- Kristen

there is a clear difference when your living with the spirit and a spiritual identity and not.- Brigette

be patient with yourself, its o.k if all you can do today is survive.- Kristen
