From as long as he can remember – Jubaa was in love with music. He attended the Dr. Phillips High School’s Visual and Performing Arts Program, where he achieved numerous academic and musical distinctions, and his accomplishments continued through Belmont University and the esteemed Berklee College of music.
Jubaa is a singer, songwriter, pianist, composer, and record producer – whose work culminated in the highly-competitive Disney Dreamers Academy, where he won top honors as Disney Dreamers Academy Dreamer of the Year and the Ne-Yo, yes that guy – Entertainment Award, where he also earned an internship with the Grammy award winning artist.
But there’s more to this very talented young man.

After teaching music full time for over a decade, Michael Daughtry left his comfort zone to pursue his passion for musical connection as a recording artist. Michael was born in a tiny North Carolina town to an elementary school teacher and an agricultural entrepreneur. Discovering his grandmother’s piano at age 3, his musical devotion grew throughout his childhood, even though he admits he has yet to get that drum set he once requested on his Christmas list. Happily married and sharing his love of music with his school-age daughter, he remains dedicated to his local community.

In the past, we’ve delved into conversations about art and culture, music – specifically hip hop, his work in museums around Boston, and even paid homage to his late father Donald Stull – the pioneering architect of the historic firm, Stull & Lee, Inc. 
And this year – we kick off in the tradition of the powerplay show – however a bit different. Rob will be with us later this season, so until then we thought we would look back at some of the topics we’ve covered over the past three years in this special The Best of Rob Stull.
