Mr. Ryan Hill everyone. 10x All-American, World Indoor Champs Silver medalist, name scrawled on practically every top 10 list in the American record books. On paper and on the track, Ryan has left the hills of North Carolina and developed into one of the most accomplished American distance runners of the last decade. This interview from Mid- 2020 gives you an insight into the psyche of an honest competitor, a last look before Ryan’s ultimate departure to Ben Rosario’s group and Hoke One One in Flagstaff. Regarding the second photo-
Ryan, you are missed every day at Bowerman practice, and I wish the best for you with your new team in Flagstaff Az. I can’t think of a higher honour or better send off than a mile high salute from Colorado legend and hall of fame running back, Terrell Davis! Salute!

The Price Of A Mile: Portland 5000 Pre-Meet

The Price Of A Mile: Portland 5000 Pre-Meet

THE PRICE OF A MILE IS BACK.

Moh Ahmed, Lopez Lomong and I sat down before the Portland 5,000 that took place at the Nike campus on Sept. 11. We were paced by Moh for a majority of the race before I finished in 12:58.10. Lopez ran 13:00.13 and Matthew Centrowitz ran 13:00.39. We all dipped under the 2020 Olympic standard of 13:13.50. This is sort of an audio diary about how we felt before that race, how we felt coming out of the training camp, gambling in the sport, their expectations for the world championships in Doha.

These are just some of the thoughts before one of the greatest moments of our lives. Definitely mine. So this is a really special podcast for me.

Oh...We also talk about the social media beef with Paul Chelimo.

Alexi Pappas loves to tell stories. She writes, she runs, and when you hear her speak you can't help but become engrossed in what she has to say. In actuality, the most interesting story Alexi tells is about her life and the places she's been. Her personal journey includes growing up in the Bay, exploring creativity and running in Hanover, NH, mindful development into a national class runner on the trails of Eugene, all before representing her Greek heritage at the Rio Olympic games. Through her travels, Alexi has developed admiration and relationships with many people she considers role models. What she realizes now is that she has grown into quite the role model herself.
