Listener Since 2020

I sometimes get the feeling that a fifty year old, married, gay woman who has worked at the same service-focused nonprofit since she was sixteen isn’t the demographic for the Prof G pod… but I honestly feel this single podcast got me through 2020 more than any other single thing.

My son (who is autistic) turned twenty-one in 2020 and I felt ill-equipped to envision his future and how I could guide him — especially mired in the isolation of 2020 (and some of the years after). Professor Galloway’s insightful and honest perspective on America and the American work place was invaluable but also his reflections on being a man and being a father led to incredible conversations and breakthroughs with my son. I feel very grateful.

I followed the professor to other podcasts he appears on but the level of respect and lack of hubris and arrogance that I’ve found on the Prof G pod is unparalleled.

Excellent, great historical and 1st hand life experiences in the real world. Very well told and easy to understand. Great work! Shining a spotlight onto the sad truth of small mindedness and extreme views.

What’s up with the adolescent humor? Drop the stupid jokes.
