Great listen - Tanner Schmidt
I took Dr. Ray Mitsch’s Family Psychology class 4-5 years ago. I wasn’t a star student in that class, but his messages impacted me in a great way. I still think about the concepts I learned 4-5 years later and probably will for the rest of my life. It makes me happy that he has a podcast because I get to continue to wrestle with his thought provoking content.
A great resource
I work with psychiatric patients and because I am not a “certified professional” there isn’t much in the way of helping them with their problems I can do other than empathize. So I recommend this podcast to them! And besides, Dr. Mitsch will say it much better than I ever could. He does a great job of fitting current events into the psychological landscape to help us understand why we feel the way we do.
Insightful and masterfully done
All I can say is wow! Dr. Mitsch consistently brings fresh and relevant content to each podcast. He is very clearly extremely competent in every area he speaks of. His take on the intersection of faith and psychology is a breath of fresh air when those two worlds often seem to be at war. Masterful insight from a christian perspective, from a psychological perspective, and from a Christian influenced psychological perspective.
10/10 would recommend.
