I legitimately enjoyed some of the episodes, but the host gives too much of a platform in recent episodes to the more standard, conservative Christian voices that want to write off psychedelics as harmful or demonic. The notion that God would allow evil forces to use something showing so much promise for human wellness to mislead people has some pretty dire implications for one’s view of God (e.g. it makes God out to be the trickster).

I really appreciate the ability to play with the unknown.

This podcast is a gem. I’ve listened to about 6 or 7 of the episodes and was refraining from making any review/rating prematurely. I just listened to ep 10 with Ashley Lande and that episode in particular is what makes me appreciate this as an information resource. It was great to hear a critical viewpoint from someone with a lot of firsthand experience. What was even better is that Lande offering that viewpoint wasn’t met with resistance or challenge but with a willingness to listen. That creates space for the podcast listener to do more introspective and independent critical thinking, instead of being told what to think or how to think. I appreciate hearing from veterans, pastors, artists, etc.. even if I disagree with their theology or politics. This podcast handles that mixing pot well. Looking forward to more episodes.
