Mom life: we’re surrounded with the message that it’s the tired life, the no-time-for-myself life, the HARD life.

And while it is hard and full of lots of servitude, the idea that motherhood means a joy-less life is something I’m passionate about putting a stop to.

I’m on a mission to help you stop counting down the minutes till bedtime (at least most days).

I want you to stop cleaning up after your kids’ childhood, and start being present for it - start enjoying it.

I believe in John 10:10, that we are called to abundant life, and I know mothers are NOT excluded from that promise.

Join me in conversations about simplicity, minimalism, and lots of other good stuff that leads to a life of less for the sake of enjoying more in motherhood.

I’m Allie Casazza, and this is The Purpose Show.

Ep 148: Pursuing Wealth as a Christian Woman

Ep 148: Pursuing Wealth as a Christian Woman

This podcast interview was so, so important to me. I sat down with Stephanie, the host of the 500 Seconds To Joy Podcast, and she interviewed me about my faith journey with money. In most Christian circles money is viewed as kind of a dirty word. And I’ve definitely struggled with going from being a Christian and living below the American poverty line to being a Christian and living on the polar opposite end of the spectrum as a successful business woman and breadwinner for my family.
I’ve had to work through a lot of fear, doubt, worry and confusion when it comes to the issue of wealth, and I’ve had to break a lot of the beliefs that were taught to me growing up. But I’ve learned so much and I’m so excited for you to hear this conversation. I get really amped up in this interview because I so want you to feel empowered in your finances because as Chris Harder says, “When good people make good money, they do great things.” Let’s dive in!

Ep 147: A Morning Routine That Works For You with Desirae Endres

Ep 147: A Morning Routine That Works For You with Desirae Endres

I’ve got a special guest with me today! Desirae from The Minimal-ish Podcast is here to talk about her morning routine. I know we talk about this a lot on my podcast and in my community but I always think it’s helpful to get another perspective.
Desirae is a mom to a two-year-old so she’s also in that early stage of motherhood that I’m kind of already out of so I think it will be helpful to hear from her that a morning routine is possible with a toddler!
This episode is full of practical tips that you can put into practice because you know I’m all about taking action here and I believe setting yourself up for success in the morning is so, so important. OK, let’s jump into the conversation! Enjoy!

Ep 146: How to Take Action When It Seems Like Everything Sucks

Sometimes we have things in our lives that keep us feeling really overwhelmed and keep us from taking control and taking action.
Maybe everything is a mess and we just feel trapped and so we do nothing. Listen, girlfriend, that is not the life we are meant to live. That is not the life you are meant to live.
We are action-taking, problem-solving women and we can bust out of that trap and that way of thinking. That’s what we’re diving into today. I want to talk with you about one really specific piece of being an action taker. Let’s jump in!

Ep 144: Permission to Be Your Real Self with Melissa Camara Wilkins

Ep 144: Permission to Be Your Real Self with Melissa Camara Wilkins

This is an incredibly important conversation. This topic is something that I have been really on a journey in, in myself, for the last three or four years. It's really become something that I've known is needed for me. To be my true self, and to understand that people won't be okay with that all the time, and that's okay. But how do you be your true self? Melissa Camara Wilkins is the author of Permission Granted and she does a beautiful job of answering this question and walking us through this. I'm so excited for you to listen in on this incredible conversation!
