The Read

I listen to a lot of podcasts and try to give a most new ones a chance. THIS ONE I LIKE from the very first minutes. I'm a 50 y.o. straight white dude who doesn't listen to hiphop/rap, but I found the hosts engaging, intelligent, opinionated, and have a clicking chemistry. They do not hesitate to be critical but not in a nasty way. Also, they seem to have a great, accurate overview of the entertainment biz. GIVE THEM A LISTEN, you won't be sorry !

Just want to tell you guys thank you for being my comic relief yesterday I had a root canal I needed to take my mind off of the root canal procedure while in the chair and listen to you guys as I do every week your comic relief and funny puns really help me while I was getting this nightmare root canal done I appreciate you guys. I hope you’re well. Kid f I hope that you’re well. I think about you a lot I’ve shared the same struggles in the past. And Cristle I’m super inspired by your ability to go back to college and pursue your career while adulting. Love y’all Rey

I just wanted to leave a review for The Read because I’ve been listening for a quite a long time and I want to give them their just due. Crissle and Kid Fury are some of the funniest people to be doing this. Every week I listen and I just laugh. Sometimes I will talk back to the speaker like I’m in the podcast too. They are just so relatable and so grounded and I always love to hear their takes on various current events. I also love the questions segment. Some of those questions are out of pocket but I love the insight they provide! All in all I love this show so much. I hope they never stop making episodes because I will never stop listening.

I’m a mega nerd like Fury and very vocal and militant like Crissle. To find both aspects of myself be fulfilled so well within two people gives me so much joy. I’ve heard every episode (EVERY. EPISODE) since a friend of mine put me on back in 2017. I’ve listened to all of it and I’m tempted to start over and listen everything from the very beginning... Ya are amazing!
