Closer to fine - Why Luck Doesn't Exist

Closer to fine - Why Luck Doesn't Exist

We attribute incredible moments to time and chance far too often. This particular memory of a very definitive moment in my life changed how I viewed time and chance and gave me a much broader view of how the universe really operates. This was just one more moment on my way closer to fine..

    Closer To Fine - Graduation

This time of year often takes me back to the summer I graduated from high school in 1992. That summer, we hit the road and found out who we were - to ourselves and each other.

    Closer To Fine - Werewolves

Do you ever wonder why we carry the unnecessary baggage of a burden around with us?

I'm 50 and still haven't mastered this yet, but my son taught me this lesson when he was six years old, and a werewolf.

    Closer To Fine - Connection

    Closer To Fine - Connection

So - this is a new thing... Still the old thing, but in a new way... While The Real Deal with Scott and Keith is on hiatus - Keith will be putting out a mini-series called "Closer to Fine," which will be just short stories and life lessons with principles to consider.

This first episode deals with the summer in Keith's life when he learned just how important human connection is and was left with the nostalgia of summertime when you are young and the fleeting moments of time when you don't realize just how fast it's moving... We hope this story will help you on your journey of getting Closer to Fine.

Nelson (Sonny)

WOW! This was hard to listen to, but it was real and raw. This wasn’t the Sonny I grew up with. We came to MANY shows. Masquerade, Cotton Club and sooo many more! Those were some of the best times of my life! I wasn’t a groupie, I was Sonny’s friend. LOL Thank you both for sharing this!!! Much love to both of you! Stephanie “Wilson” Cone

Spilt Milk Review

I enjoyed the podcast immensely. I’ve been a Jellyhead since I heard and saw them in the Bay Area back in 1990. I now live in the Atlanta metro area after relocating in 2008 from the Chicago area. Ironically, I was born in East Point and lived my first three years in Hapeville.
A couple of notes, there is a book that explains the entire story. It’s called Brighter Day: A Jellyfish Story by Craig Dorfman.

Bellybutton was recorded by Andy, Roger and Jason. Roger and Jason first met and became friends when Roger attended USC. Roger’s brother Chris was recruited just for the tour and was taught all the bass chords by Jason.
The producer and engineer, Albhy and Jack were on both albums. Albhy was part of the producing team The Bee Gees brought in after they left Atlantic and started their career rebirth in the mid seventies.
The sound man on all of the tours was Shalom Aberle. He relocated to Atlanta afterwards and set up the sound at Eddie’s Attic.
Tim Smith lives in Decatur. He toured with Sheryl Crow and Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds after the breakup.
Both Roger and Jason have recorded and toured with Beck and Cheap Trick.

Nelson podcast was great

Thanks for sharing guys. Didn’t expect the twists and turns. There is a movie that could be made out of that story.
