The Reclusive Blogger... Interviews | Andy Tongren of Young Rising Sons The Reclusive Blogger... Interviews

    • Music Interviews

Hey, everyone! It’s Brittney here, and I’m back with a new episode from The Reclusive Blogger… Interviews. It’s been a long time since my last episode, and it’s my first one of 2024. So, I feel it’s best to get right into it, so for this episode, I spoke with the frontman of Young Rising Sons, Andy Tongren. The band is in the middle of touring, and we chatted on one of their days off. They will be headed to Los Angeles to play at the Lodge Room in Highland Park on the 26th of April. We also talked about touring, their latest single (and music video) for (Un)Happy Hour, and their longevity as a band due in part to their underlying friendship.
In their career thus far, Young Rising Sons have amassed over 400k monthly Spotify listeners and accumulated over 100 million streams with notable tracks, SAD (Clap Your Hands), King of the World, Carry On, and In My Room, which have now become fan favorites and hitmakers. The band also has an extensive touring history, which includes sharing stages with artists and bands such as Halsey, The 1975, The Neighborhood, and Weezer.
