Season Premiere! Senate Impeachment Trial and More!

The Resist Report by Bros4America is back for it’s third season premiere, and is breaking down all of the latest news about the Senate Impeachment Trial of the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, who was formally impeached by the United States House of Representatives in December.

The Democratic House Managers led by Congressman Adam Schiff delivered a powerful series of presentations over three days, including his emotional closing argument which made headlines and went viral. Check it out here:

The news of the week has been that the Senate Republicans have refused to hear additional witnesses or evidence, while simultaneously complaining that they have “heard nothing new” during the presentations made by the Impeachment Managers from the House. A growing movement has been making its way across the country asking that citizens “swarm the senate” with phone calls demanding that the Senate Impeachment Trial be fair and hear additional witnesses and evidence.

We want a fair impeachment hearing. Let the evidence come to light. Anything less is a cover-up and a violation of their oath to protect the constitution!

    Impeachment Mania Sweeps the Nation

    Impeachment Mania Sweeps the Nation

Impeachment mania is sweeping the nation.

The unredacted whistleblower complaint was declassified and released to the public early Thursday morning, the latest in just a string of explosive turn of events that began earlier this week when news began to circulate that President Donald Trump may have pressured President Zelensky of Ukraine for manufactured dirt on his rival in the 2020 presidential election, former Vice President Joe Biden, intimating that he would withhold crucial funding from the country unless they obliged.

For context, Ukraine relies on $400 million in aid from the United States, primarily to defend itself against a common adversary, Russia, who has been in a low-key war with Ukraine.

The president, for reasons still unbeknownst to anyone, then admitted to the phone call, but denied any wrong-doing during the course of the call. However, transcripts of the phone call proved to be fairly damning on Wednesday, prompting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to hold an emergency meeting with House Democratic leaders that eventually resulted in the moment.

On Wednesday afternoon, Pelosi finally announced an impeachment inquiry, something she vehemently refused to do for months, even following the release of the Mueller report, having previously expressed concerns on the impact an impeachment might have on vulnerable Democrats in red districts in their 2020 races.

On Tuesday morning, the number of House Democrats supporting impeachment was floundering around 130. By Wednesday, the number exploded passed the 218 votes needed to impeach the president in the U.S. House of Representatives. Real time observers called it “the dam beginning to break,” with Democrats who were too timid to previously support impeachment flooding in support.

On Thursday morning, the infamous whistleblower complaint that gave rise to this entire debacle was unredacted and released to the public. In it, the still anonymous whistleblower states, “In the course of my duties, I have received information from multiple U.S. government officials that the President of the United States is using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election.”

The whistleblower complaint can be found here. I highly recommend reading it. It’s a doozy. https://t.co/K8nfZWtfwB pic.twitter.com/naZiiRmAys

The 2020 Democratic Debates: What You Need To Know

The Resist Report podcast is back with a well-rounded discussion about the first Democratic debate for President of the United States, which happened over two nights earlier this month and helped create a clearer picture of which candidates are going to go all the way.

Co-hosts Alex Mohajer, Thomas McAbee, Rance Collins, and Daniel Fusselman pick their favorite performances, their least favorite, and discuss the crowded field, what it will take to narrow it, and whether the apparent infighting from within the party will harm the chances a Democrat will be able to successfully unseat Donald Trump.

The World Has Gone Insane (Podcast)

The World Has Gone Insane (Podcast)

The Resist Report podcast is back with an all-new episode and co-hosts Alex Mohajer, Thomas McAbee, Rance Collins, and Daniel Fusselman are reunited and back to talk about the various goings-on in Washington D.C. this week. And the verdict? The world has gone insane.

The panelists discuss the newest rape allegations to come out against Donald Trump, this time by E. Jean Carroll, a famous advice columnist who came out last week with claims that the president thrust his penis inside of her inside a dressing room at Bergdorf Goodman in the 1990s. Carroll is the 16th woman to bring such accusations against Mr. Trump, but the panelists can’t help but feel numb and unsurprised.

“Of course we aren’t surprised anymore,” said McAbee. “And Republicans are not going to do anything about it.”

The allegations were just the tip of the iceberg for Trump, in a week where he ordered both a military strike on Iran, and a mass deportation raid for millions of immigrants…both of which he allegedly called off moments before they were to take place.

The fake out was a number of atrocious moves by the White House in recent weeks and months that have the nation feeling on edge about a potential conflict with Iran, an endless revolving door in the administration due to disagreements over Trump’s outrageous policy positions, and continued fatigue about where the nation is heading.

The conversation turned to the Democratic Party’s debates for the 2020 presidential race. The current field of candidates is….rather voluminous, so the Democratic National Committee and NBC News have decided to split it into two 10-person debates, from 9 to 11 p.m. ET on Wednesday and Thursday, airing on NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo.

Bros4America is hosting a DNC Debate Watch Party on Thursday night at Beaches in West Hollywood, CA. Find out more about the event and join here.

    Impeach the Mother F**ker!

    Impeach the Mother F**ker!

After a six-week hiatus, The Resist Report podcast is back with an all-new episode and panelists Alex Mohajer, Thomas McAbee, and Rance Collins have impeachment on the brain. To impeach, or not to impeach? With the Mueller Report having been released weeks ago and the Special Counsel’s press conference last week in which he reiterated that the constitutional remedy for high crimes and misdemeanors in the White House lies with Congress, the panelists weigh in on the political expediency of impeachment.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has been careful to tow the line regarding impeachment, at some points even suggesting that Mr. Trump wants the House to impeach because it might increase his chances for a re-election victory next November. Earlier this week, she told House Democrats she wants to see Trump in prison during a clash with House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY), and seems to believe if Trump is acquitted in the Senate as is the likely outcome of an impeachment proceeding, it will make criminal prosecution once Trump leaves office highly unlikely.

Others, however, are concerned with the long-term ramifications of allowing Trump to run rampant on our constitution and to allow his obstruction, illegality, and corruption go unchecked and the precedent it will set for future presidents of both parties.

The panelists are celebrating Pride Week in Los Angeles, and as such one of their S******e of the Week nominees is John Hugo and the other organizers of a straight pride parade being scheduled in Boston on August 31st which is meant to serve as a hateful counterpart to the gay pride parades and events happening in cities all across the United States throughout the month of June.

Other nominees this week include Attorney General William Barr, who may be held in contempt of Congress next week for his failure to comply with subpoenas to turn over the full unredacted copy of the Mueller Report, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnel (R-KY), whose hypocrisy in his approach to holding votes for Supreme Court justice nominees has yet again rankled Democrats.

The theme music for the Resist Report is by Chris Prythm of Ill-It Records.
