Kevin is doing out loud what each of us does in aviation: learning, experiencing and sharing every minute of it with friends near and far. Everyone has a journey of their own in aviation, whether flying for fun or for a living. A common thread is the enthusiasm and desire to always learn more. The love of flight and the desire to always reach for the next level touches many areas of life. Family, schedules, education, finances, health, socializing, travel, and much more enter into the conversations and equations that we have to solve. I know that I’m always striving for the next uneventful flight, smooth landing, and positive interaction both on and off the airport. The Right Seat podcast is Kevin’s welcome voice - an authentic voice in the middle of life as a professional pilot, staying humble and curious enough to learn from the stories of his guests. Thanks for the podcast that reminds the rest of us why we fly and how far we have to go: great stuff!

Overall pretty solid
As far as initial impressions go I was rather impressed by the presentation of this podcast. A lot of the time people start out unsure as to what they want their podcast to be about and how it will be formatted, but Kevin in this initial episode was very clear that it would be a show about aviation for pilots, and for those curious about aviation. The only criticism that I truly have to give is that he missed the most obvious joke of them all by not calling this his pilot episode.
