What Is Yours, Through and Through?

What Is Yours, Through and Through?

    July 23, 2020

    Sweetness,

I was going to be quiet today. I was going to hold back. I was going to sit in dark silence and be diligent, and work on other important things.

And then this episode came out of me, and I just knew I had to share it. I couldn’t hold it back. Holding back on this one just wouldn’t be right.

    I really love to share.

    And I love you, too.

    Hugs,MotherJana

My Womb, Carrier of the Soul

My Womb, Carrier of the Soul

    Friday Embodiment Practice

The above audio recording was my healing practice and offering for today, what came to me through grief and prayer, and my offering as gift to you and to the ancestors who wish to speak through me.

    >>

To create your own healing practice for our world, your prayer for peace, you can try the following:

    **

Find a space that seems appropriate to you, a place in your home or a space outside you are drawn toward.

Use musical accompaniment, such as a drum, a piano, a xylophone, or even kitchen dishes that clang. Notice what draws you, breathe, and select. Do not overthink or overwhelm yourself. Simplicity is best.

Light one or more candles around you, or choose to complete your ritual in darkness. I chose battery operated tea-light candles, and put them in a circle around me.

With one hand on your heart, speak to the ancestors (or others) who have suffered as a result of domination, conquest, ego, and hatred. Choose your words wisely. Speak from your heart. You may say something like, “I am sorry for the blood that has been shed in hatred and violence. I honor you. I ask to be a vessel for you of peace and light, to help with the healing of our world. Please lead me and guide me on a path of healing, for myself, and for those I come into contact with.”

My personal practice includes burning Palo Santo, and I invoke the name Jesus Christ, because I love him, and because he is purity and goodness. I also ask for the love and healing of Mother Mary.

See where you are led. See what needs your body has. Listen to your yoni, your womb, your heart, your chest, or any place inside you that is speaking. Let what comes, come.

You can speak, or just listen.

Honor who and what you are. Honor where and when you are. And honor others who need honoring.

When you are finished your ceremony, make sure to offer gratitude and thanks, and find a way to close your ritual that feels meaningful to you.

    Blessings,

    Jana Rose

Eve Is the Daughter of Rebels

Eve Is the Daughter of Rebels

    April 22, 2020, Earth Day

    My Brightest Star,

The other day, my kids and I performed an ancient Egyptian ritual on the living room floor, where we uncovered mummies and brought them back from the dead. And we laughed at the way “mummy” and “mommy” sound similar, but all the while, I knew the truth.

That mothers all over the world are coming back to life. Not just in the bodies of women seeking pleasure, making themselves known. Not just in the women wandering into the forest and the dark, leaving their husbands, making love to women instead.

It is the Mothers of many generations who are rising within us. The ancestors,

whose stories and ways have been buried, and burned, their voices muffled and sent away. Those women who, we were told, had no place in God, no place in religion, and needed to sit back and play second-fiddle.

Those are the Mothers, on whose backs, and in whose wombs, this entire society was built, rooted in poisonous seed.

So Cheri, listen up. When the Mothers speak to you, let them in. They will teach you things. They will open you and make you new. They will help you revive. And those Mothers do not come through noise and images and the mouths of people we call leaders, but through intuition and silence.

The Mothers come in the realm of the dreams, of the trees, in the third eye.

The Mothers dance and delight when you journey through states of confusion, because they know your weariness and wonder is the path of the wise. It is the journey of healing and understanding, if you’re brave and keep seeking. Leave your ego at the door.

The Mothers rise in women deemed “crazy.”

The Mothers are the Kooks, the ones called Wild.

The Mothers rise in the gypsy, in the Hopi, in the dancing and singing we never got to know.

The Mothers glisten in faces of the rebel and the child. The rebel is the Mother and Child.

    We call her Mary.

Back in the fall, Cheri, I went on a Vision Quest, led by a friend of mine. And during that time, I was really wrestling with this question of romantic love. I wondered if a woman could become the fullness of herself without a man. I want a special man in my life, and I love men deeply. I crave men, their presence, their passion, their flavor, the way I sometimes crave chocolate cake.

And yet I also carry The Knowing. The Knowing that women have, for thousands of years, been subjugated, and bought and sold, raped, abused, considered less than human. Women’s stories are not universal, see. Women’s experiences are off to the side, this secondary thing.

And in our bodies rest the souls of ancestors who want to heal from countless atrocities. Ancestors who want to be made known. Healing comes not through repeating old patterns, but being set free.

And so we must be quite particular about who we choose to dance with, darling, in such an intimate way.

Where did it all come from, you say? This fear of women’s nature? When did we first hear the whisper, devil, tied up with women’s bodies, women’s wisdom, which the world transmuted into women’s shame?

Oh, my darling, I’m sure you know.

    In the beginning….

Well, my sweetness, you and I, we are fortunate enough to know the truth. We have entirely new readings of these things. We have greater understanding. We know Eve as magic-maker, creator of rain, the truth-teller who heals the world.

She is our daughter, our wild child, come to set us all free.

And she was never intended as a figure of origin. Her garden was never something that existed long ago.

She was a prophecy for a future generation, see. The time of Women’s Awakening. The Age when women come to heal the wrongs of a domineering Avatar the institutions call God.

    That God is theirs.

    We have ours.

    And we know what’s true.

So, my dear, rest now in the time of waking up. Do your reading. Meditate, write in your journal,
