Mr. Cheeks #LostBoyz album Legal Drug Money turned a quarter century old earlier this summer. However, the celebration of the hip hop masterpiece has only just begun! Join the different creators and contributors to the Lost Boyz debut album will be joining us for a special 2 part episode as we discuss the behind the scenes and making of these songs from a first hand perspective.
Before we kicked off the celebration we were joined by friend of the show Jeevz B who needs advice from the hosts and listeners on how to handle a close friend that betrayed him. The crew seems to be split on how to handle the situation but little did Jeevz know we had a solution up our sleeve the whole time 🥊
Big D & Easy Mo Bee have a follow up project to their 2019 Boom Bap gem “This Is My Life” coming out on all platforms soon. Although Big D might be best known for his work with the Ultramagnetic MC’s, he has since gone on to create a successful independent label. We talk about the past, present and future of his hip hop journey and BGF Ent.
The second half of the show saw us kick off the 25 year anniversary celebration. Tonights broadcast featured appearances by original members of the Lost Boyz Pretty Lou, legendary producer Cooler Ruler & road manager D2. A party ain't a party without the LB!
