Fantastic podcast
Jeff’s podcast has been a phenomenal resource for me as a new reefer. His top 10 lists have served as great starting points for me with making stocking decisions in my first reef tank. Some of my favorite episodes have been the ones where he interviews a fellow reefer to do deeper dives into topics like culturing phytoplankton, breeding fish, and the Triton method. Would love to see more like this in the future. Make sure you go check out what he’s doing at his local fish store: Corals Unlimited (coralsunlimited.com) Keep up the great work!
Bang out podcast
Every time I google anything Jeff seems to have the answer! 10/10 would recommend it easy listening for anytime of day!
Thanks Jeff! A behind the scenes look at the hobby for this beginner
I’m new to the saltwater hobby. I’m currently cycling my Waterbox Reef 220.6! Life made me take a break from aquariums for several years (former keeper of African cichlids). Jeff and his podcast/YouTube channel have been great at providing me with the good, the bad and the ugly of reef keeping. I’ve gained a lot of great nuggets from Jeff.
I appreciate how he isn’t afraid to share insight gained from past mistakes. He wants to help new reefers have as smooth of a process into the hobby and navigate the challenges ahead. I’ve learned about how to handle certain reef problems that I haven’t experienced yet. I always enjoy him diving into articles or interesting topics on reef2reef as well. He’s introduced me to a lot of really cool fish, inverts and corals through his top 10s. His stocking plan episode has helped me get a solid game plan which I’m hoping to execute soon.
Keep up the great work! Thanks for all the time and dedication you’ve put into both the pod and your channel. Stay salty!
