EP 195: HOW TO HELP YOUR CHILD REGULATE THEIR ANXIETY THROUGH BREATHWORK WITH ATMAN SMITH

Did you know that you can use breathwork to support your children? It’s not an adults only tool, and in fact, it can be quite exhilarating to teach kids about the power they have over their own body and nervous systems. In this episode, I was joined by Atman Smith, co-founder of the Holistic Life Foundation to talk about how parents can help their children regulate their anxiety through breathwork. We covered so much in this episode including tips for getting grounded, using mirroring to empower children and what NOT to do when your kid is having a breakdown (and actionable advice to implement instead).

    Inside this episode, Atman shares:
How Atman grew up and how that shaped his path His breathwork journey and how he’s bringing breathwork to kids Tips for getting present and grounded  The incredible transformations that can take place through breathwork How mirroring empowers kids Why it’s important to teach kids these tools The worst thing parents can do when kids are having a tantrum His thoughts on meditation vs. breathwork when first getting started
