It was a Tuesday morning

I woke up itching for a spark.I opened apple podcasts. And boom, there it was. A savior I was about to discover. A new character to the narrative. Lewis howes. My life will never be the same. Big ups my bruva. 1 time.

Awesome guests, mediocre interviews

I used to listen to this podcast a lot because I like hearing what the guests bring to the table via discussions on different peoples shows. However, Lewis’s interview style is so robotic and all about getting to the questions he has prepared that it regularly borderlines on rude and conversation killing unless he already has a relationship with the person outside of the podcast. The Mike Tyson episode was the worst example and the last one I listened to. I tried to come back to the podcast recently hoping there may have been some improvement but it was even more flat and interrupted than I remembered and I couldn’t even get through one episode. It’s like listening to someone go through a checklist. This would be such a better podcast if he was less worried about getting to bullet point interview questions and more present for the conversation that could otherwise flow organically.
