    Sega Addicts Episode 125- The Final Act

    This is it, folks. The title says it all. Sega Addicts is closing its doors, and Brett, Stevie, and Scotty are here to discuss everything from beginning to end.     We asked and you answered, or maybe you asked and we answered? It's a big ol' mailbag episode! Brett, Nic, and Scotty start out by discussing their personal Game of the Year recommendations and then dive right in to that Scrooge McDuck vault of letters and postcards you sent on the interwebz.     Sonic Forces released. Did you know that? Yeah we sorta forgot for a second as well, but then we realized we should talk about it! Woo! Remember Sonic Mania? Crap, well try to forget it.     This week the Addicts discuss a cult classic from the beloved Dreamcast: Illbleed. You may wanna bring a spare pair of pants for this one according to a certain incredible commercial. The gang try to figure out what it is about the quirky game that keeps them coming back for more whether it's the Halloween season or not. And speaking of quirky, Elle, Brett, and Scotty discuss the Questionarium centered around video games releasing incomplete. Is it fair to us as consumers? A few listeners also weigh in on this anomaly that has become commonplace with today's video games.     This week the Addicts get back to the routine and bring in the spooky Sega Genesis classic (?) Haunting Starring Polterguy. We aren't really sure if anyone was looking for this game while trick-or-treating. But hey, it sure is unique... Joining Elle, Brett, Nic, and Scotty this week is their good buddy Anthony. You may remember him from such great hits as The 24-Hour Dreamless Dreamcast Marathon of 2017, where he became the self-proclaimed Champion of Pen Pen Tricelon. The Addicts also discuss whether or not one should be able to bypass gameplay to fully enjoy the story/cutscenes in video games. And you beautiful people lend us your opinions on the matter!     Sega Addicts 119- The One After The Marathon

    The Addicts have all had a bit of time to recover from the annual 24-Hour Dreamless Dreamcast Marathon, and are very excited to recap the insanity. This week Elle, Brett, TJ, Pocky X, Scotty, and honorary Sega Addict MegaMatt gather to giggle about the gaming grander they garnered. For the next two hours, the Addicts recall all 24 hours of the Marathon, which encompassed a total of 37 Dreamcast games and countless smiling faces. Not only did the Addicts play a crazy amount of games, but with your amazing help they raised over $1,000 for the Pittsburgh Children's Hospital through Extra Life - doubling the money raised last year! And a special congratulations to Morgs, who will be receiving a complete Dreamcast console courtesy of Warp Zone with a blue VMU and copies of Flogian Bros, and the best fishing games around: Sega Bass Fishing and Soulcalibur. Again guys, we cannot thank you enough for making this Marathon the best one yet.
