The Serpent True Crime Series Review. This new Netflix crime drama is based on the true story of serial killer, Charles Sobrahj, a conman who murdered countless young travelers in Bangkok, Thailand in the 1970s. It stars rising star, Tahar Rahim, as Charles Sobhraj.  Charles Sobrahj and his girlfriend, Marie, spent most of the 1970s poisoning, robbing and killing unsuspecting "hippie" travelers in and around Bangkok, Thailand. Their story is the focus of this riveting, well-acted and well-produced mini-series.  Authentic, scary and dripping with atmosphere, it's a winner.

Music composed and performed by Burk Sauls.

SPOILER WARNING: This episode contains MAJOR SPOILERS which means important story details will be revealed. We always advise listeners to: Watch First Listen Later.
