“Steve,

I’ve been listening and slowly putting into practice what you have been saying. What really has been helping me is how to work around the age issue that I’ve built a wall around me with, too. I tried twice today with three different strangers to just connect with conversation in situations where I didn’t really have to say much. My self-confidence boosted a little each time. I got two to smile and one to laugh. Cool.

I’m 53 and going through an ugly divorce right now. My counselor assures me that I’m divorced in my heart and have been for awhile and just go out and meet people just like you’ve been saying. I’m broke, but I do have my story and wisdom. I’m somewhat shy, probably because of all the rejection I’ve been subjected to over the years. I’m not a world traveler like you and Jesus. I don’t have the financial resources you two have.

Here is my question to you. I have been married to one woman for twenty-nine years xxxxxxxxxxxxx. The sex has been s****y for probably twenty-eight of those years with me thinking that it will get better, right? Er, no. I bought into all that religious XXXX early on and that has kept me locked up within myself for a good many, oh XXXX, all my life. If it wasn’t for XXX, I’d probably have eventually combusted externally in a ball of XXX in all directions within a fifty foot radius. Okay, back to my question. You have slept with many women. I have slept with one. When I’d rather XXXXXX than have sex with her…you get the picture. So what do I have to offer in bed to a woman? I know what I want and how I’d attempt to please a woman and get off on making her squirm by making her wait and teasing her making her want it more and more, but I haven’t had the practice. So, I should just go into this with the practice makes perfect mentality, right? Did I just answer my own question? ”
