The Shape of Care is a podcast that explores the world of caregiving. In this series, we hear stories from caregivers and the people they care for, and from experts and activists. There are so many of us doing this work, but we’re not talking to each other. We’re just trying to keep it together. This podcast is a platform for that conversation. Hopefully, one that helps people feel less alone.

Former caregiver ,

Thoughtful, informative, and engaging

As a former caregiver to aging parents, I was immediatly pulled into this thoughtful and informative podcast. I love the way it's examining all the dimensions, challenges, and possibilities of caregiving--especially the option of enabling ailing loved ones to remain at home. I'm very much looking forward to the next episodes!

The Shape of Care

A wonderful and much-needed discussion of the crisis of care faced by so many on an individual basis and collectively by the nation as a whole as we baby boomers bubble into the elderly years. Mindy blends personal stories with the overarching policy questions in a podcast that is professionally produced and yet still feels like a conversation among friends. Anyone who has faced, is facing, or will face the reality of caring for a loved one should listen and join the conversation with questions to be addressed in the 6th episode. Thank you Mindy Fried and your production team!
