I believe in the power of stories to transform our lives. If we can allow ourselves to disengage from our realities long enough to enter into the drama, a truth may catch us unawares. We may laugh or even cry, but the emotion produced causes a shift in our view of the world. It is in that spirit that I share some of the moments I have experienced that have moved me to a better understanding of at least myself.
