Superb!

I have greatly enjoyed listening to this series. The subject matter is very interesting and I must admit I knew very little about this time period of French and European history. I enjoy the narrator’s ability to alternate between a bird’s eye view and getting up close and personal with unique stories and details. Another podcast I particularly enjoy is the age of Napoleon, which I would highly recommend as well. Great job and I look forward to more episodes!

Well worth a listen

This is a really great show on a fascinating, yet somehow totally under-studied, period of history. Great writing, great narration, great sound quality. All you can ask of a podcast, IMO
