Long time listener
I’m one of those people in the community who will always be ready for what Brooke and Ben have to say. Thanks for popping into our ear holes! Xo
Transformation and healing Rebecca Sullivan
This one got me. The brutally raw honesty and pain Rebecca shared about her birth experience moved me in the deepest part of my soul. Though I didn’t have physical complications I did struggle emotionally. I shared her mother pain in an ancestral way, the shared dna of mothers and motherhood. Thank youRebecca for the courage to tell your story and thank you Brook for presenting it as always with respect and understanding.
A Grateful Thank You (to both of you)
My dearest Brooke & Ben,
I began listening to the pog when you first started SLOW Home... After 2 seasons...I got a bit busy and lost my way. I just stopped listening.
My background.
In 2007 I packed up my family and moved from busy, crazy, overpopulated Southern California to the islands of Bermuda (60,000 population)
I moved to Bermuda to slow down and raise my boys in a slower environment. But...a few years in things got crazy, busy...the iPhone was invented, social media was invented and has grown and taken over our lives...and (sorry all the ands) the ways of America have creeped into the islands.
Fast forward to today. 2020 has hit and a friend shared one of your episodes. WOW..my old friends B&B. Boy have I missed you two. I have gone back to season 3 to catch up.
Thank you both for continuing to do what you do. My 2020 has started off w a bang. I have slowed down and have been more intentional with the things that I do.
“Simplicity” is my word for this year. I have focused on making all parts of my my life simple. I have gotten back to my roots of doing things that are better for me, my family and the environment.
You would think that living on an island would force you to slow down. But...I feel I need to make the changes and focus on the right things. Your pogpast helps me do that.
Thank you both again.
If your travels every take you thru Bermuda, having a cold beer on the island coast near the water is waiting for you both (the kids can play in the Caribbean blue waters.)
A grateful thank you!
Keep the episodes (and books) coming.
