Great pod and next great 26" old school mountain bike

Hi guys,

First off great pod. I really enjoy it.

I was recently listening to the episode where you were talking about the $8500 Klein and what else could you push to reduce the price on the old Kleins? I have a couple of thoughts – first pitch the first gen full suspension Klein Mantras from 1991 or so. The extreme brake jack that was part of the UST rear suspension should help to reduce the price of vintage Kleins. Second – what about the Brodie ClimbMax or the Kona Explosif bikes with the dripped, splash paint job from the 1990? You could try to make those collector’s items.

Finally I live in Woodbury, just west of the big hill in Afton. You should consider organizing a group ride from St Paul and loop to Afton for the big hill. Pitch it as a celebrity ride with Little Guy and have a coffee stop at Selma’s in Afton. Just a thought. Keep up the great work. Five Stars.

Great cycling banter!

I’ve really enjoyed the show, especially during the COVID pandemic. Also a big fan of Klein corner having owned many Klein bicycles both road and mountain. Keep up the good work!

Friends on lonely roads.

Since March have been riding solo. My wife works as an RT in a hospital so I try and not risk other’s lives because she is so high risk for COVID-19 exposure so I am solo every ride. My wife did get me bone conduction headphones so I can ride and hear cars while trying not to go crazy from loneliness out there everyday. First I tried music, but that grew old, then I tried podcasts. Yours is one of the best to keep me company, although some of the other riders I wave at, and too few wave back btw, although most team and club riders do, must wonder why I seem to be laughing a lot, even on hard climbs. No doubt they think I have totally lost it from riding 6,000 solo miles and give me a wide berth. Still, thanks for the great pod and making my rides a little less lonely.
