The Slumpbuster Ep 111: Media Too Harsh on Urban? Ben Simmons Trade Rumors and NFL Week 3 Preview!

It's once again time to Bust the Slump and enjoy another episode of the Slumpbuster podcast! Kyle Ledbetter and Ju-Ju breakdown the most important headlines from both College Football, the NBA and the National Football League.
We kickoff the show talking about the recent happenings in college football. The Pac-12 had a miserable week with several of their teams falling to opponents outside of the Power-5. A ranked UCLA lost to Fresco State to headline the weekend.
Then we shift our focus to the world of the NBA. Ben Simmons has made his intentions clear and he will not be reporting for Philadelphia 76ers training camp. The all-star point guard struggled in the 2021 post season causing a rift between Simmons and Philadelphia. Where is the most likely trade destinations to make all parties happy? When might we see a trade take place?
As we preview week three, we look at what's happening in Jacksonville. The Jaguars have started off the season 0-2, causing many to speculate about Urban Meyers future. Did the football media come in with a preset agenda regarding the former college coach?
We highlights the following games in our week 3 preview:
Seattle Seahawks @ Minnesota Vikings (+1.5)
Chicago Bears (+7.5) @ Cleveland Browns
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Los Angeles Rams (Even)
Green Bay Packers (+3.5) @ San Francisco 49ers
Philadelphia Eagles (+3.5) @ Dallas Cowboys

Slumpbuster FFB Ep. 37: RB Committees, Saquon, Kittle and More! w/ Fantasy Sports Feenz

It's once again time to Bust the Slump and enjoy another episode of the Slumpbuster podcast! Joining us this week is Ronny "Ron-Ron" Taveras of the Fantasy Sports Feenz Podcast. On this episode Ju-Ju & Ron-Ron take a look at the most important fantasy football stories coming out of NFL week 2 including waiver adds, breakouts and drop candidates. #Fantasy Football
We begin by taking a look at the injury ravages quarterback position. Is Daniel Jones a worthy add as he looks to face the Atlanta Falcons in week 3? Is it time to worry about Josh Allen and Justin Herbert as they finish outside of QB1 range in consecutive weeks? Is it officially time to drop Ryan Tannehill as the Todd Downing bogs down the Titans offense? (7:20) #FantasyFootballAdvice
The Cowboys backfield was productive in Sunday's road victory against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, did this production cause controversy? Both Tony Pollard and Ekekiel Elliott finished within the Top-8 of the position. Will this create a time share for both Cowboys backs and can both retain fantasy value? The Niners backfield is equally as troublesome returning from Philadelphia. Elijah Mitchell, Trey Sermon and JaMycal Hasty all experienced injuries Sunday. Is there a back to own in San Francisco? Through two weeks Saquon Barkley has been one of footballs biggest disappointments. Is it time to sell of the Giants running back? (22:00) #DailyFantasy
Wide receiver saw fewer developments than other positions but Allen Robinson has fantasy owners guessing. With Justin Fields poised to take his first start can this bring Robinson back to WR1 production. Who is the top receivers for the Bengals, Browns and Steelers moving forward? (36:40) #SportsBetting
Tight-End has been a waste land and George Kittle has underperformed. How should owners handle Kittle moving forward?
    Enjoy the show!

The Slumpbuster Ep 110: Rating USC Coaching Candidates, Giants Late Mistakes and NFL Week 2 Preview!

The Slumpbuster Ep 110: Rating USC Coaching Candidates, Giants Late Mistakes and NFL Week 2 Preview!

It's once again time to Bust the Slump and enjoy another episode of the Slumpbuster podcast! Kyle Ledbetter and Ju-Ju breakdown the most important headlines from both College Football and the National Football League.
We begin the show by discussing Washington's 30-29 victory over the New York Giants. The Giants once again will begin the season 0-2 following late mistakes from their defense and an inability to capitalize on a late Taylor Heinicke interception. Daniel Jones may have not committed a turnover but was unable to secure the win for his team. Will the Giants begin another rebuild without Jones, Joe Judge and Dave Gettleman at the end of the 2021 season? #Giants
The University of South California has big decisions to make regarding the future of their football program. The Trojans and Clay Helton parted ways earlier this week following another upset loss to Standford. Helton had 70-46 record with USC but was never able to have the team ranked within the Top-10. Names like James Franklin, Luke Fickell, Chris Peterson and more have been floated about but who is the best fit? #USC
Lastly we give out week 2 picks on the following games:
Dallas Cowboys (+3.5) @ Los Angeles Chargers
Las Vegas Raiders (+6) @ Pittsburgh Steelers
New Orleans Saints (+3.5) @ Carolina Panthers
Tennessee Titans (+6.5) @ Seattle Seahawks
Kansas City Chiefs (+3.5) @ Baltimore Ravens
    Enjoy the Show! #NFL

Slumpbuster FFB Ep. 36: Week One Panic Attacks, Bounce Back Candidates and Surprise Studs!

Slumpbuster FFB Ep. 36: Week One Panic Attacks, Bounce Back Candidates and Surprise Studs!

It's once again time to Bust the Slump and enjoy another episode of the Slumpbuster podcast! Ju-Ju & Drew take a look at all the week one results and how they affect fantasy lineups moving forward. #FantasyFootball
We start off by taking a look at the quarterback position. Kyle Murray led all QBs with an amazing five passing touchdowns. Ryan Tannehill, on the other hand, had a rough week against the Arizona Cardinals. Can Tannehill and the Titans bounce back against the Seahawks in week 2? Jared Goff finished as a surprise Top-4 quarterback this week while being in comeback mode against the San Francisco 49ers. Will Goff have fantasy upside on a bad team in Detroit? #FantasyFootballAdvice
At the running back position there were a number of top tier talents missing from the top-12. Saquon Barkley has his fantasy GMs worrying after a rough week against Denver. Derrick Henry struggled with the rest of the Titans offense. Najee Harris and Ezekiel Elliott finished outside of the top-50 running backs. Will these studs return value starting in week two?
Wide receiver sees a lot of change week-to-week but starting off the season strong were the Dallas Cowboys receivers. Amari Cooper had double digit receptions on his way to being WR1 on the week. Some notable names that struggled included Calvin Ridley, A.J. Brown and last years number one Davante Adams. Is Terry McLaurin still a start with Ryan Fitzpatrick expected to miss time? #WaiverWire

The Slumpbuster Ep 108: College Football Alliances, Heisman Favorites & Opening Week w/ Chris Caulk

The Slumpbuster Ep 108: College Football Alliances, Heisman Favorites & Opening Week w/ Chris Caulk

It's once again time to Bust the Slump and enjoy another episode of the Slumpbuster podcast! Joining us this week, former USC wide receiver Chris Caulk. Ju-Ju & Chris on this episode discuss some of the biggest stories in college football for 2021.
We kickoff the show by talking about Chris' time at USC. How did players view the shortened season in 2020 caused by the COVID-19 pandemic? Has the Pac-12's lack of commitment to football cost them in recruiting some of the best athletes in their geography? USC finished 5-1 last season with their only loss being in the Pac-12 Championship game. Can the Trojans with Heisman contender Kedon Slovis under center become a top football power again? Additionally the Pac-12, ACC and Big-10 announced an alliance. What does an alliance even mean? #Pac12 #USC
College football has a very opening week in store as many old school powers collide. Miami, currently ranked fourteenth, will square off with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Can quarterback D'Eriq King put the Hurricanes in a position to upset the defending champions? Texas and new head coach Steve Sarkisian will welcome the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns into Austin this weekend. Can start begin his tenure with the Longhorns with a Top-25 win? Clemson may have lost Trevor Lawrence but they are still a heavy title contender. They begin with a huge test, opposing SEC power Georgia. Who will win the QB battle between J.T. Daniels and D.J. Uiagalelei? #CollegeFootball
The Heisman promises to be a very competitive race in 2021. Last season was the first time in almost six seasons a non-quarterback has won the award. Currently Oklahoma QB Spencer Rattle is the odds makers favorite. Will Daniels, Uiagalelei or even Slovis challenge Lincoln Riley's quarterback for the famous trophy come seasons end?
