Looking Back to Help Plan Future Goals
In this week’s episode, the last of 2020, we talk about looking back on what you did (or didn’t) accomplish for the year to help you set your goals for the upcoming year.
In this episode:
* You don’t have to wait for an arbitrary date to implement new goals.
* Nothing inherently magical happens on January 1.
* Think about what you don’t want to do anymore just as much as what you do want to do.
* Consider short-term goals.
* Figure out your organizational system. We highly recommend planners.

Quick Update: Podcast Schedule Change
Nothing much going on in this episode other than a small podcast schedule change for the rest of 2020. Hopefully, by the December episode, we’ll be able to tell you what the podcast will look like in 2021, but we’re still figuring that out.
Our plan is to take this extra time to write more blog content, so we’re definitely NOT going anywhere.
In this episode:
* Podcast schedule change
* Only one more episode in 2020 – first Monday in December

Managing Multiple Social Media Accounts
We’ve been asked a few times, “How do I handle multiple Twitter accounts?” And our response is, “We wish we knew!” That’s because, we feel like we struggle with the balance of personal social media, professional social media, and social media management on behalf of clients. So yes, if you find it difficult to do, you’re definitely not alone.
That being said, we have come up with strategies, tools, and methods to do the best we can. So let’s talk about it. In this episode, we mention Twitter and Instagram primarily, but we think it holds true for any social media platform you’re on. Finding the balance of posting enough and having the right voice is tough.
In this episode:
* Why you might need to manage multiple accounts
* How to decide on a different voice for each
* How to stay within a brand’s voice
* Tools to use
* Mistakes we made and make

Facing a Few Fears and Realities
I honestly didn’t (and still don’t) know what to call this week’s episode. Instead of the topic I planned, I took you into my thought process, a few fears, a couple of realization, and no clear resolution. So….life, basically. When forced to face a smutlancing fear, I figured a few things out. Not that I know quite what to do with that information.

Helpful and easy-to-digest information
Kayla's doing great work with this podcast. She gives lots of information from experience that's easy to put to use. Her advice serves to not only helpful individuals thrive, but the community as well. The episodes are a good length that allow adequate information without going far off-topic or being too overwhelming.
If you're a writer, you're going to benefit
The Smutlancer is a podcast I actively look for each week because of the content. It is useful and relevant whether you're a sex-blogger or not. If you write and put your writing into the wierd, tangled world of the internet with some hope of monetizing, Kayla brings real-world, down to earth, doable advice and lays it on the table for you. The episodes aren't long, so its easy to listen while commuting or waiting for that next idea to smack you upside the head. Give it a listen. You won't be disappointed.
