Rewind to 1893 in Montella, Italy, where a baby named Leonarda Cianciulli is born into a life of hardship and tragedy. Raised in a rural farming community, Leonarda's life takes a dark turn as she battles with a haunting fortune and a curse placed upon her by her own mother. With her children dying and her marriage filled with strife, Leonarda forms a sinister plan to protect what's hers, and an even darker plan to cover up the evidence.
Leonarda sets her sights on unsuspecting victims. Faustina Setti, Francesca Soavi, and Virginia Cacioppo. Each fall prey to Leonarda's manipulations, lured by promises of love, jobs, and new lives. Little do they know the horrific fate that awaits them.
