In this episode, Health for Many Groups, our hosts Dr. Peter Bagshaw and Dr. Andrew Tresidder are joined by Lee Reed from NHS Somerset to discuss why health inclusion is important, how health and care services need to continue to work hard proactively to support different groups and why it is important to tailor support instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all approach to healthcare.

Stepladder – Men's mental health project in Somerset
If you're struggling with your mental health, it's important to remember that it's ok to not be ok. If you're feeling overwhelmed and are contemplating suicide, know that there is hope. Mindline is available 24/7 and can provide a listening ear - simply call 0800 138 1692.
Stepladder has been set up for all men in Somerset. The project is delivered by Second Step and funded by Somerset County Council and aims to reduce the number of men who take their own life. We work with communities, groups and organisations across Somerset to find new ways men can connect, support each other and get help.
