If you’ve always wanted to learn Spanish, but didn’t think it was possible because you were terrible at Spanish in high school, or you don’t get sucked into Rosetta Stone-style hype–you’ve come to the right place. I’m a normal person, not some big company and not some native Spanish speaker. I’m not a natural language learner at all actually. My first brush with Spanish ended with me getting an F in high school! But somewhere along the way, I fell in love! I’m not sure if I love Spanish because I love traveling, or I love traveling because I love Spanish (and food). But I love them both. Naturally, I want more people to love what I love, but I know that you probably don’t see Spanish like I do… not yet! That’s the point of this podcast. I want to show you that there is ANOTHER WAY! That most of the strategies and tactics they used to teach us Spanish in high school are IGNORANT. They are ignorant to our plight. I know your mistakes. I understand why you make them. They were my mistakes too! I remember the pain and the agony of having to figure it all out myself because... let’s just say... I was underwhelmed with the resources out there. Well, now with these videos (or audios) you don’t don’t have to waste the years I did.

One Line at a Time, Episode #6 (The Good Place)

In Spanish, why do they say “me amo” for “I love” sometimes, but other times, they say “me encanta” or “me encantan” for “I love”? And, why do they so often say “el,” “la,” “los” or “las” when we DON’T say “the”? In this video, we’ll address both of those questions.

It’s time to talk about the sixth (and final) part of speech, conjunctions. In this video, though, we’re only talking about “within-clause conjunctions”. I’ll explain what they are, and the three big differences between conjunctions and prepositions.

One Line at a Time, Episode #4 (The Good Place)

In this episode of One Line at a Time, after discussing a few miscellaneous issues, we’ll tackle a tricky topic: the before/after question. When do we put a descriptive adjective before the noun, and when do we put it after the noun? When do we say “chicos buenos” — and when do we say “buenos chicos”?

In this episode of “One Line at a Time,” we’ll look at a few little things (vocab, prepositions, that stuff) before we get to the MAIN EVENT: Why they so often say “el” or “la” in Spanish when we don’t say “the” in English?

Love this guy!

My wife and I took two years off and are traveling through Mexico, Central America and currently in Colombia. The Spanish dude has been with us the whole way. Lol
I’m not sure what Nika’s beef was (bad review) or why she would say nasty things. These are the same videos that are on his website and his YouTube channel. This man puts out plenty of free content. He also has premium content you can pay for. Now due to the corona virus crisis he is offering his Premium content for WHAT YOU CAN PAY!! who does that?! We gladly took advantage of that. We paid him what we could and are loving the verb conjugation videos. Also he gets to the point which I love. You can knock these video out. Enjoy friends

Making HUGE Progress!

This guy is amazingly clear, intelligent and thorough. Most importantly, he understands the way that people both learn and commonly get confused with the spanish language. I've made so much progress with undestanding the functions of spanish, as opposed to the more typical lessons of monotonous structure-less memorization of words.

Highly recommend the full class!

Ignore what he says Pronunciation episode

Mostly this is an ad to drive people to his YouTube page. Gives the most TERRIBLE advice on pronunciation such as don’t follow important rules that will actually change the meaning of words and make you not be understood by native speakers.
