Tartarus, another Greek word often translated as "hell" in English, was used to refer to the mythological prison of the underworld that held the wicked. They look once again at the parable of the rich man and Lazarus as well as look further into one of the things we confess of Jesus in the Apostles' Creed, that he descended into hell or hades.
