DJ Mad Max is working to bridge the gap between old & new school Hip-Hop through his show Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max. With his vast Hip-Hop knowledge and unique interview style, he is introducing his generation to the legends that started it all. The show features a wide variety of guest stars including Hip-Hop artists of the past & present, R&B artists, producers/DJs, industry managers, and even pro athletes. When possible guest rappers bless the show with a freestyle. Max likes to mix it up and talk sports with his Hip-Hop guests, and Hip-Hop with his sports guests.

Big thank you to Hip-Hop legend, host, and activist Talib Kweli for coming on my show for an interview! Talib discussed his new album Liberation 2 with Madlib, why he decided to drop the album now on DSPs, and the lyrical breakdown on After These Messages. He talked about the right and the left discord in politics, Donald Trump being mentioned in rap lyrics back in the day because he was a money symbol, and his beef with Tom MacDonald. He got into why rappers are afraid to be conscious, why the same labels who signed acts such as Public Enemy are not signing those acts anymore, and the last time that he saw Prince. He also spoke about what he has on the way with Javotti Media, his recent conversation Eminem, and recording Get Em High with Kanye West. Stay tuned!

Shoutout to Atlanta, Georgia's own Kolo for returning to my show for an interview! Kolo discussed opening up for Conway the Machine for his upcoming show on May 16th in Brooklyn, receiving a co-sign from Idris Elba, and the success of his viral series sampling music from around the world. He talked about collaborating with UK/Polish artist Pat, getting a co-sign from Russ, and the steps he took to making a living off of his music career. A great show that needs to be on top
DJ Mad Max has been on his grind for a long time and his show has seemingly grown as his star continues to shine. Highly recommend everyone gives the show a listen. 5 Stars
Goto school and do some research
This dude is a kook. No wonder he only got 14 listeners. I thought dude was a lame. But hearing the MC eiht interview and had eiht saying the same answer to all of his same questions over and over til eiht ended up forgetting maxwell was even on the phone. Haha. Had me dying. Learn to interview legends kook or stop wasting their time.. did you REALLY call nef the phoaroh a legend and DMX a Yonkers legend???
