    FA Cup semi-final round-up (preview)

    FA Cup semi-final round-up (preview)

The games continues thick and fast, as Musa and Ryan reflect on the FA Cup semi-finals, which saw Chelsea and Arsenal progress to the final and highlighted potential problems within the two Manchester clubs. To listen to the rest of this episode, head to the Ringer FC Spotify feed. The NWSL was full of shocks as the top four seeds all exited the competition and Britt Eckerstrom steal the show, plus Ryan shares his love of the numerous novelty Twitter accounts that have sprung up around the tournament. The MSL was also wild, with goals, sending offs and VAR drama a plenty, much like La Liga’s final day, which saw Leganés relegated, two legends leave Villarreal and Granada seal their first ever European spot. Finally, they touch on Bielsa’s Leeds getting promoted to the Premier League, Nigel Pearson’s sacking with two games left and World Cup Winner Andre Schürrle’s retirement at the age of 29.

MLS's weird return, plus Rangnick to Milan, managerial sartorial choices and more (preview)

Gagailbayu ,

Top notch

Absolutely love listening to Musa and Ryan. They both obviously have a knowledge and wisdom about the game, and their chemistry and humor really stand out. Perhaps most importantly, they don’t just show a willingness to talk about the intersections of politics and sports, they do so with the nuance and empathy we so desperately need from sports media. Thanks guys!!

Always Good

Genuinely - Musa and Ryan have yet to have a bad episode. They so clearly have chemistry, and what appears to be a friendship outside of the show (always weird to think you know something about someone’s life who lives halfway around the world and you’ve never spoken to), that it’s always a fun listen. While I wish they’d talk about Borussia Dortmund more (I wish everyone would talk about Dortmund more, even the Dortmund podcasts I listen to) they talk about all of the top five leagues, speak with knowledge and understanding on the Women’s leagues and Women’s UCL, hit major stories from around the world, and even speak about the clubs they’re fans of in a way that isn’t annoying (which is a trick, especially after Utd. bought Sancho and now don’t play him- figure that out). It’s a really, really good podcast.
