Too much bass, but great content

I really enjoy these podcasts, but the intensity and duration of bass for the intro and outro give my wife a headache. It would be great if they could be changed or at least shortened and at a lower volume. The content is great!

A Fan, but...

I’m a big fan of Dr. Grant and have followed his work for years. Just recently started listening to the pod casts. I’m a little disappointed by the sound quality. It’s a hollow sound, like the mike is too distant, and produces unequal volume levels.

Impressive

The material covered in this series is fresh and eye-opening. Dr. Grant and Mr. Jenkins provide great commentary on biblical approaches to serving those less privileged than ourselves, while making some very important distinctions along the way. I appreciate the well-researched ideas and balanced opinions.

The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because they have yet (current as of episode six) to find their rhythm and many times severely talk over each other, which is hard to listen to at times. I imagine this stems from the fact that both men, when typically speaking, tend to speak to an audience, whether from the pulpit or the classroom. Being used to this kind of one-directional speech may prevent both men from adding input effectively.

The takeaways highlighted in each episode are salient and thought-provoking. I feel encouraged and motivated by what I’ve listened to so far. Both men are highly intelligent and have great insights to share. If they improve their on-air chemistry (i.e., a much smoother back-and-forth) they’d take this podcast to another level.
