The Expulsive Power of a New Affection

The Expulsive Power of a New Affection

In 1819, when he was at the height of his influence and effectiveness, Thomas Chalmers preached a sermon on growing in Christ and resistance to temptation and sin.  It has been heralded as a classic ever since.

The sermon has been particularly influential in George’s life, helping him understand how the Gospel changes everything.

Great podcast!

I loved Dr. Grant’s articles when he wrote for World Magazine! I love his word play on World’s podcast. His podcast is even better because it’s informative from the Christian life to great books! Love hearing his wife and his enthusiasm for books!

Too addictive. Too good. Too wonderful. George has become my constant companion anytime I drive. I wish I could subscribe to everything George Grant and listen while driving. I am on the road more than two hours per day. I could have a college education in the Word Of God like this.
