The State of Awareness show is a political podcast that will discuss current events, history, and news. Main stream media has failed to provide good, non biased, news for the working class. This show looks to put an end to that. This show believes in an honest assessment of all aspects of politics and giving an honest opinion on policy affecting the working class.

Interview 1- Alex Vrana, Psychedelic Psychology

This is an Interview with a friend of mine Alex Vrana, a psychology major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. We discuss what he is studying which is psychedelic psychology and the advancements our society is having with psychedelic research. We discuss the political and sociological problems we have regarding drugs, and if drugs that have been scientifically proven to improve the physical and mental health of humans be decriminalized. -
Episode 4- Work Place Democracy
In this episode Dylan and I discuss local politics and the TPUSA state Senator forum. I asked a few questions and expressed the important of climate change action to our state Senators.
We then discuss the issues going on in northern Syria. Was Trump correct in withdrawing troops?
Also we talk about he importance of getting Bernie Sanders elected President and his amazing work place transformation he has introduced.
For the first time, I'm introducing a shout out piece where I will be plugging any local artist or any friends who have a hobby they wanna get out there!

Episode 2. We discuss local news, Mark in Midtown, Climate march September 20th at 9am downtown. We discuss the Trump administrations firing of John Bolton and the uninsured rates go up. The major topic in episode 2 is the anniversary of 9/11 and the war on terror and how it's transitioned our country.

Thanks for breaking down the topics in “layman terms” for people like me. I learned some things I didn’t know about :) I’ll be sharing the link!
Refreshing
Enjoyed the topics.
Thoughts on raising the minimum wage are valid, but there will always be those people who use the system and take advantage which will require tax payer dollars to keep funding things like food stamps and government housing. I don’t think we’ll ever fix that problem. Unless we require more stringent rules in order to receive assistance, such as drug tests, proof of employment or the search of, etc. Think it’d be cool to hear your opinions on this.
