Please note: This is the episode in which we go for a more organic, less-edited feel. I.e, Hear Marc make lots of notes to himself about editing, which Julie deliberately ignores because she got to edit this one [insert evil laughing].

Mirrors

From time to time I think about sibling harmony. Today I thought about blame and revenged and searched with the words sibling rivalry. I really like your duet! I learned a lot from this episode wanted to respond:
I always have to have mirrors around me. When I talk to myself, I call myself “we.”

“Giving up excess calories” inspired me to lose weight.

After listening to the episode “giving up excess calories” in mid-July, I couldn’t get the idea out of my mind, so a couple days later, I downloaded MyFitnessPal.
I’ve lost 23.3 pounds since then, and am now officially in the healthy weight range! All it took was the standard 500 calorie reduction. At this rate, I will reach my goal weight sometime early next year. Hearing Mark and Julie discuss their experience, in this case especially Mark discussing how easy it was for him to lose his first few pounds, made me believe I could do it too. Julie keeping a level head and opening up about body image has likely been benefits in the long term as well. I’m standing undressed before my bathroom mirror as I write this, and I can see the changes now. My body image is changing as well. I’m almost to where I’ve wanted to be for a long time, and I owe it to you two. So thank you.
