AND WE'REEEEEEEE BACK!
It's been awhile Brigaders (that's what our rabid horde of listeners is called. I checked with them). A lot has happened in the last year and the STORY BRIGADE has made some changes. It's rebooting as STORY BRIGADE: MATINEE. What does that mean for the show? Well, my sister, Mari has decided to step back from co-hosting and will be guesting in episodes going forward. Which means that each episode of Matinee will feature a new guest! Can't wait to introduce you to all these cool folks!
Our first guest is our most devoted fan - Phil McCabe - known in infamy for the Star Wars Special episode (go listen to it). And he decided to be cheeky by having the first episode of our franchise reboot of Story Brigade be about... franchise reboots... Enjoy.

Before you ask, no, we're not going to be doing three spins for every episode this season. I just got over excited about Cinerama as a spin that I didn't fully appreciate how it's really not a genre. But if you want to learn more about it, take a listen to this episode! I spend ten minutes diving into the history of it and boy, is it fascinating! And check out this episode if you want a real understanding of how we could possibly get to such a cool name as "Train Monsters".
