HOT critic ,

So excited to find this podcast!

Thank you for cutting the bull and giving us science based advice.

So glad I found you!

After a few years away from lifting and eating healthy, I decided to re-engage. I joined a program that tracked macros, something I really enjoyed and knew worked well for me, and provided fitness training. Only behind the curtain, the coaches used shame to try and motivate you to continuously lose more weight. It was NOT healthy! This podcast and the 2 hosts - Dr Lander and Dr Morton - were TOTAL life savers! I learned more from their podcast episodes than I did in the 6 months I was in the other program. I have binged all the episodes and cannot thank them enough for the education, motivation, honesty, practical application, and open-minded approach to health

Mostly about food and

I keep coming back because Empowered by Iron had some great episodes about the science behind strength and effective workouts, but for the past year or so it’s almost entirely about intuitive eating and self motivation. Which is fine, just kinda gets old after a while. I feel like there’s not a lot to those things, and the information tends to just repeat itself. I’d love to hear more about strength and strength sports and rad female athletes who are killing it.
