Statistically speaking, students feel lonelier now than ever before. It is ironic because we live in this technology age where we also are more connected than before. And yet that doesn’t translate to feeling closer to people, in fact it has the opposite affect.

God tells us though we are never alone in Him. And He has given us community as a gift to stay connected, grow and feel that love that He desires for us. We all can be reminded today that community helps us in our walk with Christ.

What we value and what is important to us may feel like a conviction or passion of ours. If we were to think critically about it, however, we may find that a lot of what is important to us has been imprinted on us from society. And at the end of the day, what our culture values isn’t the same as God’s value system.

Once we can identify what is important to God and align our own values to that, we then gain freedom to live not according to the world’s pressures, but according to God’s will.

Our view of truth in 2021 is a lot different than what it used to be. It used to be objective, absolute and have one definition that was understood and agreed by most people. Today, however, truth tends to be subjective and different according to whoever is speaking it. The Bible teaches that there is absolute truth and it is found in Jesus. When we can agree to this view of truth, we can live and orient our lives around that.

Life Changing

I recently moved away from Lexington S.C, and I really miss this church and this podcast channel opened my eyes again to the word and Gods love. God truly speaks through these leaders.
