The Forever Date - S1 E3 'Tales From the Loop' Recap & Review

Not happy with dating Jakob May soon stumbles upon a thermos-looking device with a curious on-off switch that will soon take her, and a new love interest, Ethan, into their own world where they can stop time for everyone else but themselves.

With an eternity of time the two explore their new world -- and each other -- seemingly turning their time together into an eternity together, all in the same day.

Ethan eventually feels "stuck" and wants out while May, having felt abandoned most of her life by her disinterested mother, doesn't want to be alone. Feeling frustrated, Ethan removes the bracelet protecting him from the stoppage of time.

Hosted by Loren Kling and Kevin Allen with special guest, Lauren D. Martin (Background Costume Coordinator, episodes 2-8)

Feels like a water color for the Loop!

I really want to thank you for making this podcast. I LOVE this show. I have to admit it is a little hard to watch in the pandemic. I can only watch one episode a day. BUT I love it so so much. It is so nice to hear other people who love it too. (My family watches, but grumbles the whole time). This podcast is now my water cooler where I can think about the show aand know I am not alone in my love.

I really think that this show will have a cult following - It may not be really popular right now, but I think this is a show that is just so freaking beautiful and haunting. I think it unfortunatly came out during a time of stress and oddness. I actually think it resonates with me because of this. You know; nothing looks the same way as it did 2 months ago. I mean, I walked into a liquor store with a mask on... and it was normal. It reminds me of abandoned cool robots on the side of the road... and it's normal. I love love it.

Thanks again!
