Season 3 - Episode 4.5

What a great episode! As I was getting ready to mow the lawn I threw on this episode and glad I made such a wise decision. Filled with great music, some solid education and some eye opening realizations of cover songs.

Side note, I have an irrational fear of snakes. While mowing I came across a snake and almost ran it over. While this has not happened often, when it does, the rest of the lawn mowing is done on high alert without any sense of relaxation or enjoyment. But not this time. The incredibly well prepared podcast by Mike D and the podcast staff kept me so engaged, the snake was a soon afterthought that didn’t impede my lawn mowing enjoyment.

Side side note…. Weezer covered Africa!?!?!? Best surprise and best one on the list for me.

Side side side note…. While I was eagerly awaiting Pearl Jam’s cover of The Who’s Baba O’Riley (greatest cover ever in my opinion) I could see how they did not make it with such great diversity like a reggae version of country roads.

Great episode start to finish.
