Real life comedy

Kelly and her guests explore more than comedy, and in doing so tap into what seems like the comedy of real life. Through death and darkness to the accomplishments of life, Kelly invites her guests and listeners to go beyond laughter into something that is more human than comedy often allows. Simultaneously, the comedy within every episode is completely uplifting, and helps me as the listener to feel more at ease with the pain and joy presented.

Brilliant!

The Tao of Comedy is laugh out loud funny, heartbreaking, heartwarming, and brutally honest all at once. Kelly has a way of getting her guests to open up and talk about the big questions of life, including dealing with grief and tragedy, in a totally raw way, and somehow they make you laugh through it all.

Wisdom, Wit & Satire - Arguably Genius

Kelly's unique style somehow mixes laugh-till-you-cry with cry-till-you-laugh humor and street smart oberservations into an always shareworthy podcast. A Tao of Comedy binge left me inspired and eerily happy. Keep it up Ms. MacLean - you're clearly a leading comic voice of our times.
