Love this

I really got sucked into this series. It is so great to have a place to go to find ways to teach with creativity. In a day and age where creativity is getting sucked out of the profession through standardized policy, it is ESSENTIAL that we find leadership for putting the creativity back into teaching ourselves! THANKS to Education Closet for that. And, thanks for this Vodcast/podcast series that makes is super easy to consume important and helpful information!

Very enjoyable conversation - I especially like the frank discussion of the ups & downs of creating curriculum & ways in which the grade level spans differ in approach & receptivity. Great points made - such as, realistically, it is more straightforward to integrate the arts in the earlier grades, & at the high school level there are complicating factors that create challenges specific to the secondary environment. Not that it can’t be done! Collaborating with the art specialist at all grade levels is critical, and wise administrators allocate time for this. Thanks for a great podcast with insights on a wide range of pertinent topics.

Thank you for allowing us access to these invaluable webinars. They help me stay in a growth mindset and make me want to be a better teacher! The 5 levels of art intergration are insightful. I am guessing it is normal to jump between the 5 levels through out your day depending on what you are teaching! I aspire to be at a level 4/5 but it will take time and collaboration! Thanks again...off to listen to the second webinar. :)
