It’s fine

Generic commentary from one guy who knows a little bit about tequila and one guy who doesn’t even seem to know the basics (legal requirements of Blanco, Resposado, Añejo). They ask decent/ok questions, it’s not a bad show at all. It’s the 1800 of podcasts. Not bad, inoffensive, fine for a marg, but nothing you should go out of your way for.

Barely tolerable

Good info from interviews but otherwise it’s very amateur.
Brent is good but listening to Gary (G Hawkinz on Twi-ahh as he likes to say) is clueless. Implies he is the anejo lovwr, yet the only anejos he likes is low on agave flavor and drinks it on the rocks. Why have someone on to comment about tequila when they do all they can to hide the agave. He doesn’t like blancos, and thinks cristalinos (he calls them cristaleens) are clear because they are distilled one extra time. Do some research, you insult the intelligence of your audience. Plus he can’t stop saying how smooooth overly sweet anejos are. If you’re on a podcast about any liquor and can’t come up with a descriptor other than smooth, you should find another topic to podcast about. His stupidity really kills the credibility of this podcast.
